I am a barrister and mediator with over 25 years’ experience in litigation and dispute resolution over a wide range of legal issues with particular emphasis on civil and family disputes.
Prior to becoming a barrister I was a partner in a central Auckland law firm for 11 years.
I provide a quality, down to earth, easy to understand and friendly service.
I work with clients to ensure that they are fully involved
in the decisions relating to their legal matters by ensuring full
understanding and ownership of the legal issues and processes.
I am a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Society ( and am the deputy chair of the executive of that section for 2016/7)) and past Convener of the Auckland District Law Society Family Law Subcommittee.
I am an experienced mediator. I am accredited to the NZLS Family Specialist Panel of Mediators and an associate member of the Arbitrators and Mediators' Institute of New Zealand (AMINZ). I undertake FDR mediations and am available to be instructed for private mediations.
I have experience in the collaborative dispute resolution process and am a member of The Collaborative Law Association of New Zealand.
